Osmaniye Water Supply and Sewerage Project

Brief Description of the Project :

The Municipal Services Improvement Project aims to improve water supply, wastewater and solid waste services in selected municipalities that have seen significant population increases as a result of refugee arrivals. Most of the municipalities in these provinces already had operational problems such as high-water losses, inadequate water treatment, inadequate access to wastewater collection, and lack of wastewater treatment due to shortages in financial capacity and insufficient institutional capacity. With the increased population, there is additional demand on the municipal infrastructure and services. The project covers the development of the water and wastewater networks of Osmaniye City .

In scope of the Project, services will be performed with two contract packages.

1. Design Review, Preparation of Bidding Documents for Osmaniye (Centrum) Water Supply and Sewerage (West Part Lot-1) & (East Part Lot-2) Project (C1-A). Works under the scope of this contract package has been completed on 20.10.2022
2. Construction Supervision for Osmaniye (Centrum) Water Supply and Sewerage (West Part Lot-1) & (East Part Lot-2) Project (C1-B)

Following works will be performed;

OSMANİYE-W1 (West Part- Lot 1):

• 230,973 m long drinking water network and 18414 Nos. drinking water house connections, 2,426 m long water transmission line, 1 water storage.
• 203,322 m long sewerage network 4908 Nos. Sewerage inspection manhole, 61,380 m long parcel connection, 12276 Nos. parcel manhole.

OSMANİYE-W1 (East Part-Lot 2):

• 109,989 m long drinking water network, 3320 Nos. drinking water house connections, 8,053 m long water transmission line, 3 Nos. water storage.
• 267,412 m long sewerage network, 2 Nos. pumping station, 5735 Nos. sewerage inspection manhole, 55,090 m long parcel connection, 11018 Nos. parcel manhole.

Scope of Services :

Contract (C1/A) Services

• Review of Existing Design and Preparation of New Design for water and wastewater networks,
• Studies for leakage estimation in water supply system with evaluation of flow results and accrual data,
• Zone planning and installation of necessary equipment in water system and distribution network to reduce the leakage,
• Updating the procurement plan of Osmaniye Municipality’s FRIT Project as per the approved/revised work schedules of the Contractor/s and his Contract,
• Preparation of Tender Documents,
• Providing Technical Assistance during Tendering and Contract Awarding Stage.

• Project Management,
• Construction Supervision,
• Defect Liability Period Services.
