Kırşehir Water Supply System Rehabilitation Project

Brief Description of the Project :

The Iller Bank obtained from the International Bank of Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) an additional financing (Additional Credit) to meet the cost of the “Municipal Services Project” and allocated a portion of the credit to Kırşehir Municipality for financing the “Kırşehir Drinking Water Network Project”.

The following contract packages are included in the scope of the Project.

(KIR-C1/A) Design and Review of Designs, Preparation of Bidding Documents for Water Supply System

• Drinking Water Network –hydraulic analysis of drinking water network (450 km total), detail design for 1st phase network lines (150 km total), (Ø 100 – Ø 500 mm)
• Detail design for pumping stations- 4,8 km total (Ø180 – Ø315 mm), 
• Detail design for water distribution tank – 3 nos. new tank (1x2000 m³, 1x2500 m³, 1x5000 m³),
• Rehabilitation of current structures -6 nos. tank (600 m³ – 5000 m³), 4 nos. pumping stations,
• SCADA system

 (KIR-C1/B) Construction Supervision

• Construction supervision for 1 SCADA Administration building,
• Establishment of SCADA system,
• Construction supervision for 3 nos. new water tank (1 x 2000 m3, 1 x 2500 m3, 1 x 5000 m3),
• Controlling the rehabilitation of 7 nos. current water tank (600 m3 - 5000 m3),
• Controlling the rehabilitation of 4 nos. current pumping station.
• Supervision of PE home connection works-total 63.548,35 m, Ø32- Ø75 mm
• Supervision of HDPE drinking water connection works- total 180.175,96 m, Ø90- Ø500 mm
• Supervision of steel pipe works- total 319,57 m, Ø200- Ø710.

Scope of Services:

(KIR-C1/A) Services

• Reviewing the current designs,
• Performing mapping and geotechnical ground surveys,
• Preparing detail designs,
• Preparing and installation of SCADA System,
• Preparing Tender Documents,
• Technical assistance for tender process and tendering.

 (KIR-C1/B) Services

• Services for Construction Supervision,
• Supervision services for Defect Liability Period.
