Mardin–Nusaybin Railway (Infrastructure, Superstructure) Survey and Design Engineering Services

Brief Description of the Project:

Infrastructure and Superstructure survey, design and engineering services are provided for the 65 km long Mardin-Nusaybin double track high speed railway (project speed 200 km/h).

The following services are provided within the scope of the project:

• Preparation of 1/5,000 and 1/1,000 scale photogrammetric base maps,
• 1/25,000 scale alternative corridor study studies,
• Preparation of 1/5000 scale alternative route preliminary designs,
• Preparation of 1/1000 scale route application plan-profiles, cross sections, superstructure designs,
• Preparation of hydrological and hydraulic studies and designs,
• Preparation of drainage designs,
• A total of 7,345 m of ground and rock drilling on a 65 km route, site tests, laboratory tests by taking samples, preparation of Geological-Geotechnical Reports,
• Preparation of final designs for large and small engineering structures,
  Bridge       7 nos. and total 270 m (Lmax= 50 m)
  Viaduct     2 nos. and total 1270 m (Lmax = 1070 m and includes post-tensioned bridge)
• Preparation of wire fence projects of 65 km railway route,
• Design of 3 Stations and 1 siding structure,
• Preparation of tender documents and technical specifications together with all surveys and quantities related to construction works within the scope of tender documents for the construction of the route.

Scope of Services :

• Obtaining, examining and evaluating the current design, information and documents from the Client,
• Examining and evaluating the current Topographic and Geological Maps,
• 1/25,000, 1/5,000 and 1/1,000 scale Triangulation, Leveling and Grid studies,
• Preparation of 1/25,000 and 1/5,000 scale route studies,
• Preparation of 1/1,000 scale maps,
• Preparation of Geological-Geotechnical-Geophysical Survey Reports,
• Determination of Project Horizontal and Vertical Line and Preparation of Reports,
• Preparation of Hydraulic and Hydrological Surveys,
• Preparation of Route Superstructure Designs,
• Preparation of Drainage Designs,
• Preparation of Bridge Designs,
• Preparation of Shoring and Retaining Wall Designs,
• Preparation of Final Designs Report,
• Preparation of Construction Works Tender Documents.
