Merzifon - Samsun Railway

Brief Description of the Project:

Infrastructure, Superstructure and Electromechanical survey, design, and engineering services for 102,10 km long Merzifon-Samsun double track high-speed railway (project speed 200 km/h) route.

Following services are provided in scope of project;

• Preparing 1/25.000 scaled and 1/5.000 scaled map studies and 1/2.000 scaled photogrammetric base maps,
• 1/25.000 scaled alternative corridor studies,
• Preparing 1/5000 scaled alternative route preliminary designs,
• Preparing 1/2000 scaled route detailed plan-profiles, cross-sections, superstructure designs,
• Hydrological and hydraulic surveys and preparing reports,
• Preparing drainage designs,
• On a 102.10 km route drilling a total of 20,827 m of soil and rock, site tests, taking samples and laboratory tests, Preparing Geological-Geotechnical Reports,
• Preparing final designs for small or large engineering structures,

Bridges                               22 Nos and total of 3.290 m (Lmax = 456,40 m)
Viaducts                               4 Nos and total of 3.063 m (2 Nos viaduct 90 m and post-tensioned bridge)
Cut-cover Tunnels           14 Nos, 4.462 m
Tunnels                               19 Nos NATM and total of 50.141m (Lmax = 8.010 m)

• Preparing wire fence designs for 102 km railway route.
• Designing 3 railway stations and 1 siding structure,
• Preparing the designs of signalization, electrification, and telecommunication projects for 102 km railway route,
• Preparing expropriation plans for 102 km railway route,
• In scope of tender Documents of route design, preparing exploration and quantity surveys with tender contract and specifications.
