Berdan Dam Irrigation System Renovation Planning Engineering Services

Brief Description of the Project:

Berdan Dam Irrigation area is located in the Mediterranean Region, in the Eastern Mediterranean Basin number 17 and within the borders of Mersin Province Center (Akdeniz, Mezitli, Toroslar and Yenişehir Central Districts) and Tarsus Districts.

With Berdan Dam Irrigation, conversion of 15798 ha rehabilitation area, 2711 ha with additional areas, a total of 18509 ha, and with Pamukluk Dam Irrigation and 7550 ha rehabilitation area irrigated from Berdan Dam (6995 ha converted from pumped irrigation to gravity) and a total of 11080 ha areas with 3530 ha additional areas to closed pipe system and the technical and economic feasibility of irrigation facilities were revealed .
