TÜBİTAK-UEKAE and TÜBİTAK-UME Laboratory Buildings

Brief Description of the Project :

TÜBİTAK-UEKAE, with its qualified man-power and internationally recognized background, is a leading institute producing and implementing scientific and technological solutions to ensure and maintain the technological independence of Turkey in information safety, communications and advanced electronics.

TÜBİTAK-UEKAE is currently serving in its building in TÜBİTAK’s Gebze campus. Consultancy services will be provided for construction and commissioning of Research-Development buildings comprising 3 nos. Laboratories, Office, Transformer Station and Heating Center on total 18.000 m² area, in addition to existing service buildings.

TÜBİTAK-UEKAE Antenna Testing and Research Center: Research-Development building on total 5.000 m² area, comprising laboratory building of steel-construction on about 2.950m² and reinforced –concrete Office building on 2.050m².

TÜBİTAK-UEKAE Cathode and Micro-wave Vacuum Tube Research Center: Reinforced-concrete Research-Development building on about 4.200m² area, comprising laboratory and offices,

TÜBİTAK-UME (National Meteorological Institute) Environmental Tests and Researches Center: Research-Development building on total 8.000m² area, comprising Laboratory building of steel-construction on about 5950m² and reinforced-concrete office building on 2.050m²,

TÜBİTAK-UEKAE Transformer Station: Reinforced-concrete Transformer building on about 300m²,

TÜBİTAK-UEKAE Heating Center: Reinforced-concrete Heating Center on about 250m²,

TÜBİTAK-UME Transformer Station: Reinforced-concrete Transformer building on about 300m².

Scope of Services :

• To define the programs for requirements,
• Preparation of concept drawings,
• Preliminary Design,
• Final Design,
• Detail Design,
• Preparation of drawings for furnishing, including design of associated furniture,
• Preparation of tender and contract documents for construction and furnishing,
• Technical support to the Client during tendering process,
• Construction Supervision,
• Post-construction services during Defects Liability Period.
