Brief Description of the Project :

Detail design for wastewater and stormwater networks, collectors and interceptors to meet the demand of Ankara where is the capital of Turkey and has 5 500 000 PE for the target years of 2025, preparation of the technical specification, pre-qualification and tender documents in accordance with the world bank procedures, evaluation of pre-qualification and bids, contract documents, supervision of construction works under FIDIC Conditions.

The main components of this study are;

• Detail design of total 33 km interceptor sewers, between dia. 500 mm – 3000 mm,
• Detail design of total 103 km collectors sewers, between dia 200 mm – 2600 mm,
• Detail design of 46 storm sewers,
• Detail design of 11 000 ha network sewers,
• System hydraulic modeling,
• A site survey to assess the physical and structural conditions of the pipeline cross-sections on total 300 km of existing interceptors, collectors and network sewers, and 50 km of existing collectors of the primary drainage system,
• Tender documentation and supervision of the site survey in order to assess the physical conditions of 1700 km sewer pipelines,
• Preparation of a computer programme for digitized record drawing and related alphanumerical data base for stormwater and wastewater drainage systems,
• Preparation of a geotechnical site survey programme and supervise the works,
• Rehabilitation study of existing sewers which includes construction of 7100 new manholes and reconstruction of 2700 existing manholes,
• Preparation of tender documents and assist the Client in bidding process,
• Administrative and Technical Project Management, Services during Commissioning and Construction Supervision.
