Planning Reports for Kahramanmaraş Logoons and Irrigations (ru)

Brief Description of the Project:

Project sites comprise the lands of Elbistan district of Çokyaşar village in the Southeast of Kahramanmaraş provincial capital, Büyük Nacar village in the North of Pazarcık sub-province, Küçük İmalı village of Türkoğlu sub-province, and Güller village in the Northeast of Büyük Kızılcık town of Göksun sub-province, all in the Mediterranean Region of our country.

The project comprises the following structures;

Merkez - Çokyaşar Lagoon & Irrigation: The water to be collected in the lagoon planned for construction of the Kuyuçınar Stream, flowing through the South of Elbistan district, will be used to irrigate total 181 ha arable land in Çokyaşar village and Elbistan district of the county seat / Kahramanmaraş.

Göksun – Büyük Kızılcık Güller Lagoon & Irrigation: The water to be collected in the lagoon planned for construction on the Çayır Stream, flowing through Güller village in the Southwest of Kızılcık town of Göksun sub-province, will be used to irrigate total 208 ha arable land in Güller, Bozarmut and Yanköy districts.

Pazarcık – Büyük Nacar Lagoon & Irrigation: The water to be collected in the lagoon planned for construction on the Balıça Stream in Büyük Nacar village of Pazarcık sub-province will be used to irrigate total 167 ha arable land in the aforesaid village.

Türkoğlu – İmalı Lagoon & Irrigation: The water to be collected in the lagoon planned for construction on the İmalı Stream, flowing through Küçük İmalı village of Türkoğlu sub-province will be used to irrigate total 450 ha arable land in Küçük İmalı and Ceceli villages.

Studies for the project will be carried out in two phases;

1. Preliminary Study Report

Studies will be performed to define the types and capacities of contractual structures and determine the technically and economically optimum project formulation. At this stage of the project, the “Engineering Hydrology Report”, “Agricultural Economy and Land Acquisitions Report”, “Engineering Geology and Natural Construction Materials Report” and “Land Classification and Drainage Report” at planning level will be prepared, further to mapping services on lagoon axial sites and reservoir areas.
 
2. Planning Reports

Following review of interim reports, EIA studies will be performed on the basis of formulation to be agreed with DSI, and the following reports and appendices thereto will be prepared;

• Kahramanmaraş – Merkez – Çokyaşar Lagoon and Irrigation Planning Report
• Kahramanmaraş – Göksun – Büyük Kızılcık – Güller Lagoon and Irrigation Planning Report
• Kahramanmaraş – Pazarcık - Büyük Nacar Lagoon and Irrigation Planning Report
• Kahramanmaraş – Türkoğlu – İmalı Lagoon and Irrigation Planning Report
