9th International Symposium on Atmospheric Sciences ATMOS 2019, İstanbul - Turkey 24 October 2019
9th International Symposium on Atmospheric Sciences, ATMOS-2019 was held in Istanbul, Turkey between October 23-26, 2019 under the organization of Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ), Department of Meteorology.
The symposium organization committee selected the main theme for this year’s symposium as “Interactions Between Climate Change and Sectors”. The symposium talks addressed and discussed the interactions between climate change and agriculture, economy, energy, environment, forestry, health, society, tourism, transportation and water resources, etc.
At the stand opened within the scope of the symposium, 3 projects realized by SU-YAPI and named below were presented.
- Preparation of Drought Management Plan for Lake Van Basin,
- Eastern Mediterranean Basin Flood Management Plan Preparation,
- Preparation of Seyhan River Flood Hazard Maps.
