"Tajikistan- Qairokkum Hydroelectric Power Plant Rehabilitation Consultancy Services" contract was signed. 10 October 2019

The contract for the consultancy services to be provided under the “Qairokkum Hydroelectric Power Plant Rehabilitation”, co-financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank, was signed between TEMELSU / SU-YAPI Joint Venture and Tajikistan Open Stock Holding Company "Barki Tojik" on 02.10.2019 in Dushanbe.

In scope of the project; rehabilitation of hydro-mechanical and electromechanical equipment of Qairokkum HEPP, which was established in 1957 on the Syr-Darya (Seyhun) River in the north of Tajikistan and increasing the security of the dam is planned. Thus,  the quality of the electricity supply will be increased.

The services to be provided within the scope of the 73-month project are as follows;

• Pre-construction consultancy services;
• Contract Management;
• Site supervision services and monitoring of construction works;
• Inspection of equipment, consultancy services, testing and commissioning;
• Technical assistance during the execution of the works;
• Reporting.
