TANAP - Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project

Brief Description of the Project :

The TANAP Natural Gas Pipeline Project covers high-pressurized pipeline and associated structures for transmission of natural gas 31 billion m³/y, scheduled for supply from Azerbaijan to Turkey and Europe for 50 years.

The pipeline length is approximately 1850 km, starting at the border of Georgia-Turkey, leading to Turkey-Greece Border of Turkey.

Station facilities:

Compressor Station   : 7 Nos.
Block Valve Stations  : 49 Nos block valve stations
PIG Stations              : 11 Nos.

2 Nos. Take-off Branch Stations near Eskişehir and in Trace: including metering and pressure reduction facilities.

4 Nos. Fiscal Metering Stations at the Georgia and Greece Borders and Turkey Take Off Stations .

Scope of Services:

Detailed Engineering design and preparation of construction technical specifications and BoQs for the pipeline (onshore + offshore), structures / techniques of intersections with other facilities as well as for the AGIs (e.g. compressor stations, pipeline valves, metering stations, pigging stations etc.),

Cathodic protection (against corrosion) for all pipeline and SCADA system design and preparation for tender,

Data acquisition for recording in the Geographical Information Systems developed for all pipeline and recording the data in the Project Data Platform.

Contacts with associated public institutions and agencies, and obtaining legal permissions, along the pipeline route,

Participation and support for the preparation of Contractor tender documents and technical evaluation process,

Participation and support in the selection process of all Pipe Producers and Compressor Unit Producers applied from domestic and abroad,

Monitoring and coordination of the preparation of land acquisition plans and drawings comprising the complete pipeline route, further to carrying out land ownership valuation studies and monitoring and coordination land acquisition activities,

Procurement and material procurement management, including logistics planning, delivery coordination

Comprehensive contract management, including program and cost, including review of claims and giving opinions, progress payment control and approval of contracts related to all contractors and service providers,

Project management of all activities, both in the pipeline and at stations, including the following

• • Supervision of all construction and manufacturing in the site, including Quality Assurance / Quality Control and Occupational Health and Safety,
  • Environmental monitoring, monitoring and recording the fulfillment of ESIA Report requirements at all sites,
  • Social monitoring, monitoring the fulfillment of ESIA Report requirements at all sites, monitoring and managing the grievances of the affected people.

With the provisional acceptance of all structures, the control and coordination of the initial start-up, commissioning and initial operation processes of the entire transmission system, the coordination of the completion of the operating procedures .
