Siirt Water Supply and Sanitation Project (ru)

Brief Description of the Project :

The main components of the Siirt Water Supply and Sanitation Project for Siirt having 148.000 equivalent populations in the design target year 2030 are given as follows:

CONTRACT PACKAGE LOT 1:

Water Supply and Distribution: Construction of a pump station and 1000 m³ reservoir, rehabilitation of 4 concrete reservoirs, construction of 46 km (DN 50 to DN 600) water distribution network.

Sewerage System: Construction of 54 km (DN 200 to DN 400) of sewer system and 6600 house connections.

Stormwater-Drainage: Construction of 9.2 km (Ø500 mm to Ø800 mm) of piped drainage system and 0.7 km box culverts.

CONTRACT PACKAGE LOT 2:

Water Supply and Distribution: Construction of a booster pump station and 3 pressure break tanks, design and construction of 52 km (DN 50 to DN 600) water distribution network.

Sewerage System: Construction of 36 km (DN 200 to DN 800) of sewer system and 2700 house connections, also construction of 0.4 km force main, one sewage lifting station and bypass from sewer system to drainage system.

Stormwater-Drainage: Construction of 3.8 km (Ø500 mm to Ø900 mm) of piped drainage system and 1.1 km box culverts.

CONTRACT PACKAGE LOT 3:

Wastewater Treatment Plant: Construction of WWTP with a capacity of approximately 130,000 person equivalent and 20.000 m³/day. WWTP utilize the activated sludge process and include a screens, parshall flume, grit and grease removal, activated sludge tanks with diffused air aerators, return sludge pumping station, sludge stabilisation, sludge thickening and dewatering and sludge drying beds.

Scope of Services:

• Project management and coordination,
• Updating and review of planning results,
• Preparation of preliminary design,
• Preparation of detail design,
• Preparation of tender documents in accordance with FIDIC Yellow Book conditions,
• Technical assistance during tender period and tendering,
• Supervision of construction works,
• Implementation of water loss reduction programme,
• Commissioning of the works.
