Contract for the "Rehabilitation of Small Dams within the Scope of the Çekerek River Basin Rehabilitation Project" was signed. 13 February 2026

The contract for the “Rehabilitation of Small Dams within the Scope of the Çekerek River Basin Rehabilitation Project” tendered by the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSİ), Department of Dams and Hydroelectric Power Plants, was signed on February 13, 2026.

Under the scope of the contract, services will be provided for the preparation of rehabilitation projects that will evaluate the current performance of the Kızılhamza, İbrahimköy, and Seyitnizam Small Dams located within the borders of Çorum province, and the Artova Small Dam located within the borders of Tokat province, under updated critical conditions (possible floods, earthquakes, etc.), ensuring the stability of the dam body and auxiliary structures, preserving the water retention capacity of the dam, and preventing total collapse.
