FCIC-DEIK International Engineering Forum 2023 - Reviving Communities: How the Technical Consulting (TC) Sector Drives Post-Natural Disasters Recovery 6 December 2023

As Su-Yapı, we participated in the FCIC-DEIK International Engineering Forum - Reviving Communities: How the Technical Consulting (TC) Sector Drives Post-Natural Disasters Recovery organization held in Istanbul on Friday, December 1, 2023, “Lessons Learned and Studies Conducted, Post Kahramanmaraş Earthquake(s) Experience in Turkey". Our Board of Directors Advisor and FCIC Vice President, Mr. M. Özgür ÖZATAY, also participated in the organization.

In the presentation, our Structural Design and Transportation Projects Director, Mr. Umut AKIN, gave information about the technical preparations that Turkey should make before the earthquake and the studies on examining and strengthening the structures after the earthquake, within the framework of the difficulties encountered and experiences accumulated after the Kahramanmaraş earthquake.

The organization was held with the participation of design and consultancy companies operating on an international scale.
