The contract for the "Survey Design Engineering and Consultancy Service Procurement for the Conversion of the Existing Railway Line Between Pamukova-Osmaneli Km: 167+660 - 203+660 into Double Track" tendered by the General Directorate of T.R. State Railways Management (TCDD), is signed between TCDD and SU-YAPI Engineering and Consulting Inc. / KMG PROJE Engineering Consulting IT Tech Ltd. Co. / TCDD TEKNİK Engineering and Consulting Inc. Joint Venture, on 10.11.2023, in Ankara.

Within the scope of the project, it is planned to convert the Pamukova-Osmaneli railway into a double line to increase the railway transportation capacity between Ankara and Istanbul and to raise the railway standard. In this direction, studies will be carried out to convert the existing single-track railway of approximately 36 km between Sarmaşık Station and Pamukova Stations into double track.
