“Uzbekistan – Reconstruction and Expansion of Sewage Systems in the Cities of Gulistan, Shirin and Yangier of the Syrdarya Region” contract was signed. 20 May 2019

Contract for “Uzbekistan – Reconstruction and Expansion of Sewage Systems in the Cities of Gulistan, Shirin and Yangier of the Syrdarya Region” financed by Islamic Development Bank was signed between SU-YAPI Engineering & Consulting Inc. and State Unitary Enterprise «Suvokova» of Syrdarya Region in Tashkent, on 20.05.2019.

In scope of the project, to solve the problems of wastewater collecting systems of Gulistan, Shirin, and Yangier cities of Syrdarya Region, completion of following works are planned;

• Rehabilitation and improvement of current Wastewater Treatment Plants;
• Rehabilitation of sewerage pumping stations and sewerage networks and reconstruction of new sewers and pumping stations to increase the service capacity;
• Increasing the safety and efficiency of wastewater disposals;
• Application of measures to protect sources;
• Improvement of repair applications and system works

Scope of consulting works are as follows;

• Preparation of Detail Designs,
• Preparation of Bidding Documents and Assistance in Procurements,
• Construction Supervision.

The duration foreseen for the works; 10 months for preparation of project and tender documents, 42 months for construction supervision including the defect liability period.
