Marmaray was put in service (ru) 28 февраля 2014

The 14km section (Contract BC1) between Ayrılıkçeşme and Kazlıçeşme stations under 76km-long Marmaray Project joining, through a tube-tunnel under the Bosphorus, the railway lines on European and Asian banks in İstanbul was put in service on 29th October 2013 when a great inauguration ceremony was organized for the occasion.
