Brief Description of the Project :

Boyabat Dam & HEPP Project is in the Lower Kızılırmak basin, some 123 km in land of the Black Sea, in 10 km SW of Durağan county seat of Sinop province in the north of Turkey. The project area on the Kızılırmak River is surrounded by the Ilgaz Mountains in the north and west, the Kunduz and Çal Mountains in the south and Altınkaya Dam reservoir in downstream.
