Engineering services were officially commenced on signing between SU-YAPI Engineering & Consulting Inc. Co. / SEBAT Mapping Ltd. Co. Joint Venture and NABUCCO Gas Pipeline International GmbH the Contract for NABUCCO Natural Gas Pipeline Project – Turkish Section Engineering Services on 22.04.2009. NABUCCO Natural Gas Pipeline, connecting to Europe the natural gas reserves of the Middle East and Caspian Sea, is planned to be approximately 3.300 km in length, 25.5 to 31 billion m3/year in capacity and put in operation in initial capacity in the year 2013.

There has been rotation in services at managerial level in Su-Yapı Engineering and Consulting Inc. Mr. Özbay ERGÜN serving as the General Manager since September 2001, departed from his office in June 16 2008, handing over the banner to Mr. Ali CANOĞLU, Former Deputy General Manager. We wish Mr. Ali CANOĞLU success in his new position.

Consulting Services Contract for Rehabilitation of Drinking Water Supply, Wastewater Collection and Treatment Systems in 22 Regions of Azerbaijan was signed between AZERSU Joint Stock Co. and CES / SU-YAPI Joint Venture on 03.04.2008.
The project, financed by World Bank and scheduled for completion approximately in 3 years, covers rehabilitation of existing system, contract documentation, support to the Client during contract award process and construction supervision services.

Su-Yapı's web-site has been renewed. The site, which has been put in service in Turkish, will soon be put in service in English and French, too.
